next piece for the beach gallery
My cake piece was juried in at the last show and sold a couple days after the open. This is my next piece for the next show. "Grandma's Attic" I really had fun with all the mediums I used to create a distressed look. It's my first stretched canvas.
Very nice piece. The art work is amazing!!!! I love how you mixed the things together. I find it hard to believe it's your first stretched canvas. I was very happy that the picture enlarged a bit although I wished it had gotten even bigger so I could see all the details.
You might try using a different lighting technique so that everything show up. We invested in a lighting box (they're easy to make. We have an article with links on our site) and it really helps with pictures. No shadows!
